BR 2-14: Mr. Putter and Walk the Dog

Hello. I read the book today. The book's title was Mr. Putter and Tabby Walk the Dog. I have read the book's series before. Then I like it, so I want to read this one.

Mr. Putter and his fine cat, Tabby appeared this book. And Mrs. Teaberry and her small dog, Zeke lived next door to them. She sometimes gave him eggplant for his supper. And he sometimes gave her kiwis for her lunch. They were very happy living side by side.

One day Mrs. Teaberry slipped on a kiwi and hurt her foot, so Mr. Putter took her to the doctor. The doctor's diagnostic outcome was a rest of one week. So she could not walk her dog, Zeke. She was very troubled. Then Mr. Potter said that I will walk your little dog. When she heard that, she was very happy. But she was a little worried, because Zeke tugs, and wraps around trees, and chases other dog. But Mr. Putter thought that Zeke was a dream dog.

The first day Mr. Putter and Tabby took him for a walk, he tugged. He tugged and tugged and tugged. He tugged them through yards and creeks and houses they had never been through before. When they got home, they had to have some warm milk and pudding and a nap.

The second day they took him for a walk, he wrapped around trees. He wrapped around a pine tree, a pear tree and an elm tree. Ans he always wrapped them with him. When they got home, they had to have some warm milk and popovers and a nap.

The third day Zeke chased dogs, and he did not chase little ones. He chased big ones. For example, he chased a Russian Wolfhound, a Great Dane and a Saint Bernard. He chased them until they got bored with being chased. Then they turned around and chased Zeke and Mr. Potter and Tabby. The big dogs chased them through yards and creeks and houses they had never been to through before. Mr. Potter said to Tabby when they woke up. "Zeke was not a bream dog. He was a nightmare." And the two of them sat long time wondering what to do. They weren't sure they could live through four more days with Zeke.

But the fourth day he did not tug, he did not wrap, and he did not chase. He was a dream dog. So he had a hot fudge sundae with extra cherries. The fifth day was same. He was a dream dog again. So they took him to the swimming pool, and he jumped off the diving board fifteen times. On the sixth day Zeke went to a carnival. On the seventh day he went to the zoo. When they took him home for the last time, Mrs. Teaberry came, and asked them. "Was Zeke a good dog?"
They smiled and said "Yes." The day they said good-bye and went home and had a party.

I have a dog, too. And I often walk with him. He also tug, so I was hard. But he is my family, and I love him. This book was able to sympathize, so I want to read it again!!

BR 2-13: Books Store Ghost

I read book today. The book's title was "The Books Store Ghost." When I become university student, I often read many English books. So I can read it fast. I want to read in the future.

This book was about book store. The storekeeper was Mr. Brown. He liked three things. It was some ghost books, cheese, and cats. Then he decided to buy a bookstore. The bookstore sold only ghost books. The book store's name was The Black Cat Bookstore. And he also decided to get a cat. He and the cat lived above the bookstore. And mice lived in their house, too.

The cat was strange, because she was not like other cats and fish. But she loved cheese, so they ate cheese for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

One day, a woman came in to buy a book, but she saw a mouse, and screamed. She ran out of the store. A man ran out, too. They said that The Black Cat Bookstore has mice. So nobody wanted to come to the store. Then Mr. Brown told his cat that catches the mice. The cat went to the mouse hole, so the mice were scared. But the cat likes mice. The cat and the mice played together. But Mr. Brown was not happy, because those mice were scaring people away. Mr. Brown told the cat to catch the mice during three days. Then the cat and the mice had a plan.

Day one came. A boy was walking by the store. Then a book fell off a shelf, and another book fell on the floor. The boys who watched it went into the store. In the store, more books fell. The boys said that The Black Cat Bookstore has a real ghost. Then his friends came into the store.

Day two came. The day also did the plan. So everyone watched to see the ghost. On day tree, the store was busier than ever. But Mr. Brow did not know who the ghost was. The cat decided to see it to him. It was the mice. The mice pushed many books on the shelf. He was surprised that.

Now they all live together. The store is always busy. As for Mr. Brown, the favorite things have increased. It was ghost books, cheese, his cat and his ghost.

I thought it was good that Mr. Brown liked the mice. The mice were wise, so the cat had not to catch the mice. If there is Mr. Brown's bookstore, I want to go there. This book was interesting!!

BR 2-12: WAKE UP, SUN!

I read a book. The book's title was WAKE UP, SUN! I have read many books, but this one was legible for me. I was able to read it at once.

The story appeared a dog, a pig, a cow and a chicken. They lived in the farm. One night, in the middle of the night, a dog woke up, because a flea bit the dog on his ear. Then the dog said "It must be time to get up." Just then, a pig woke up too. The pig said "Be quiet." And the dog said the same thing little ago. The pig said "The sun is not up." The dog asked the pig " Where can the sun be?" "Maybe it fell in the well." answered the pig. They ran to the well. And they were shouting toward the well.

Then a cow woke up, and he said "What are you doing?" The pig said that we are looking for the sun. And the cow answered that maybe the sun is hiding behind the barn. The dog, pig and cow looked behind the barn. And they shouted "Come out, sun!"

Then a chicken woke up, and it said "What is wrong?" They explained that the sun was not found. The chicken said maybe the sun sleeping late. They decided that wake up the sun, and they began to yell. The yell was loud sound, so the farmer and wife woke up. Farmer ran to the window, and he fired his gun. Therefore the animals stopped yelling.

Then farmer's baby woke up just as the sun come over the barn. Then all the animals thought farmer's baby woke up the sun! From that day, the dog and the pig always played ball with the baby. The cow gave her lots of sweet milk to drink, and chicken laid eggs for her, every day.
Because?? They knew she was only one who could wake up the sun!!

I think this story was very cute. I felt warm, and I want to read it again. I recommend this book!!

BR 2-11: The Giant Jelly Bean Jar

A happy new year,everyone. I could spend great days in last year!! And I want to do hard as much as last year.

I read a book yesterday. The book's title was The Giant Jelly Bean Jar. The pictures were very cute, and I wanted to watch it many times. The story was about Ben who loved jelly beans. It were sold in the Jo-Jo's jelly bean shop. Jo-Jo had a contest in every weekend. And he read a riddle. The person with the right answer won a jar full of jelly beans. Every Saturday, Ben went to Jo-Jo's shop with his sister, Jill. Ben always knew the answer to Jo-Jo's riddles. But he never won the jelly beans. Jill said him that you are too shy in every week. And she told him to raise his hand high and speak up.

Jo-Jo's shop has a lot of jars full of jelly beans. There were apple jelly beans, bubble gum jelly beans, and grape jam jelly beans. And there were even popcorn jelly beans! The day, Jo-Jo had a question. He said "I'm a long, yellow fruit with skin you peel back. I'm tasty with breakfast and I make a great snack." Then kids waved their hands in the air. But Ben was very nervous, so he lowered his hand. Jo-Jo looked at the children, and he pointed to Jill. She answered "Banana." He could not answer again. He wanted to answer the jelly bean riddle himself.

The next Saturday, they went to his shop and tried to answer. But another boy won the jelly beans. He knew the answer, so he was shocked.

The next Saturday, they went to his shop again. But this week was different. It was special, because Jo-Jo's Jelly Bean Shop had been open for one year. Jo-Jo was having a big party. The store was more crowded than ever. Jo-Jo raised a very , very big jar of jelly beans over his head. Then everyone cheered. And Ben listened carefully to Jo-Jo's riddle. He knew the answer right away. This time, he lifted his hand high. Jo-Jo looked out at the big crowd. And he pointed to Ben. At last, he could answer. Jill asked him " How does it feel to be the Grand Prize Jelly Bean King?" Ben said her "Great!!"

This book was very interesting. Ben's sister was very kind. If there was not his sister, he was not able to won the prize. I want to read it again!!

BR 2-10: I Am a Star

I read a book now. The book was kind for me, because the book's level was 1. I often read some more difficult books, so I could read it soon. The book's story was about star. I am interested in star. When I found it, I decided to borrow the book soon.

It was a book that became feeling of the star. The star was Polaris. Polaris is the North Star. All stars move for a few months, but the star alone doesn't move. It stays in the North. So sailors use it find their way.

We can't see stars in the daytime, because there is too much light. And we can't see it on a cloudy night, because it hides behind cloud. We can see stars on a clear night. Long ago, people saw pictures in stars, and they are called it constellations. Some people saw bears, and other people saw dippers. Now there are 12 constellations.

To see stars better, you need a telescope. The study of stars is called astronomer. When I was child, I wanted to be it. I like watching stars, so I wanted to use a big telescope.

There are a lot of stars. We make the star from various materials. Some flags have stars. We sing a song about the star. And we wish upon the star.

When I read this book, I found that there are many stars near our lives. And I learned about Polaris. When I lose my way, I want to watch it. And I can know where the North is. I have become to like star more since I read it.

BR 2-09: Young Cam Jansen

I read a book today. The book's title was Young Cam Jansen and the Library Mystery. I have read the book's series before. The book was interesting, so I wanted read it again. Cam who has a great memory appeared in the book. And her father and Eric also appeared in it.

One day, they went to the library. Cam borrowed a book which was a dinosaur mystery. And Eric borrowed a book which was about a boy who got into lots of trouble. Her father was reading a book. Cam and Eric readied, so her father put in a bookmark and closed the book. They got to the supermarket after their books were checked out. She took a shopping cart, and she followed them. There were magazines and books for sale just inside the supermarket. As they walked into the store she asked her father, "What are we buying?" Her father reached into his shirt pocket. Then he shook his head and said, "I don't know what we need to buy. I lost the shopping list."

Eric thought maybe Cam remembered what it was on the list. But she never looked at it. Her father remembered that putting it in his shirt pocket and there was a lot more on the list. Her father checked his pockets again. He took out some coins, keys, and his wallet. And he looked in his wallet, but he did not find the list. Her father thought that maybe it fell out of his pocket. Then a worker was sweeping the front of the sore. Eric ran to him, and "Did you find a long piece of paper?" he asked. He answered " I just sweep everything into that corner. You must be over there." And Eric found the shopping list. He took the paper off the floor. But her father realized it was not ours list. It was thrown out by someone.

Her father thought maybe I dropped in the library. And he walked toward the exit, so they followed him. Cam looked at the books. Lots of them were mysteries. Then she found where the list was. "I'm looking at a picture of a small piece of the shopping list. I'm looking at it right now." she said. They left the supermarket, and arrived at their car. She said "The mystery you borrowed is on the front seat. Open it and you'll find the shopping list." And the shopping list was there as her saying. So he must have used it as a bookmark. After that, they walked toward the store again.

I thought this book is such as demystification. I like Cam solves the problem. She has really great memory. I always want to read this book again after this book's series. I want the memory like her, so I can enjoy more.

BR 2-08: TALES OF OLIVER PIG

I read a book yesterday. The book's title was TALES OF OLIVER PIG. The book has five stories. I want to explain all stories, but I would like to explain my favorite stories. It were two stories. One is a baking day, and the other is a IS IT OLIVER.

First, it is a baking day. The story's characters were Oliver, his mother and his sister. They are pig. His sister's name was Amanda. They are very cute. The story was about rainy day.

The day was not a day for outside, because it was cold and wet. Then his mother told Oliver to come to the kitchen. And she said that today is a baking day. He asked her mother what we would bake. Her mother was going to make cookies with raisins. He was happy, because he liked cookies with a lot of raisins. So he readied its materials. First, he mixed some butter and sugar. And he stirred up an egg and the oats. After that she put a cup of flour and some baking powder. He stirred it again. Finally, Oliver put in a sprinkle of nutmeg and a sprinkle of cloves and two sprinkles of cinnamon. Then he realized that there was not raisin. He asked her about it. She had already prepared it. And she said "these were for the cookies. " Mother put them in the pan. They listened to the rain outside while the cookies bake. After a while, they smelled the smell of baking cookies. They ate it, and they felt happy. I thought the cookies were delicious, because they are it with their family. When I was child, I often cooked sweets with my mother. I want to cook cookies again.

It is about IS IT OLIVER. Oliver and his father appeared in this story. When Oliver was in bed, he asked his father to find him. His father came in his room, and he looked in the toy box, in the closet and under the bed. He said "I can't find Oliver anywhere." Then he looked in the bed. He found only his ears sticking out. But his father did not say that it was Oliver's ears. The father said "it was elephant ears or a caterpillar or a cucumber or a stream shovel. " Oliver answered "No." At last, father said gave up. Then he said "it 's your Oliver!"

The father gave him a hug and tucked him in tight. And they said each other good night. I thought his father was kind and warm. It was great to his father pretended to not know. I thought family was good.

BR 2-07: A Night Out

I read a book now. The book's title was A Night Out. The book has a CD, so I also listened to it. When I borrowed the book, I always think that I feel gained feeling. So we are able to read and listen. But I want to borrow the long story more next time.

The story was about a night party. In Friday night, Ruf and his friend Ruby was taken to the school dance by Ruf's mum. I was surprised, because such a thing is impossible in Japan. My
parent will not take me the night party. I think America is different from Japan again.

There were a lot of kids inside. Some were laughing and shouting over the music. Some were eating and drinking. But no one was dancing. Ruby wanted to dance, so Ruby grabbed his hand and took him out into the middle of the room. But he wouldn't dance then, because there were some boys who shouted out to him. He did not hear what they said, but they were laughing at him surely. She encouraged him, and said "If you don't dance, you will not have fun." And she started dancing. She did not look at the boys, so she was having a fun time. When he looked her, he started dancing, too. He was very fun, because he did just what he wanted to do.

When he had fun, he stopped and looked around. Then, all kids were coming over to dance with them. And no one is looking at him. After that, his mother came back to take them. When they came back their home, he said her mother that " It was good fun."

I thought that it is the best to do what I want to, so I can't be fun. It's great they danced the party. I want to do a night party in school, so we can make friends more. And we are able to spend our school life.

BR 2-06: ARHUR AND THE SCHOOL PET

I borrowed four books, and read a book today. The title was ARTHUR AND THE SCHOOL PET. I often read some books of Arther series. They were very interesting, so I want to read it again. And the pictures were cute.

The story was about D.W. who was Arthur's sister and her school's pet. Her school keeps a gerbil. But there were Christmas vacation, so anyone had to take it home for the holidays. Then D.W. took it. Its name was Speedy, and Speedy was speedy. She had to be careful. When D.W. went to home, Arthur helped D.W. carry it home in his cage.

D.W. kept Speedy in her room. She played with him, and she tried to teach it to stand on one paw. She told it " Be a ballerina. And I'll give you this cheese." On Christmas Eve, she put its cage under the Christmas tree. She thought that Santa will bring a present for it, too. After she went to bed, Arthur put a piece of cheese in its cage. It was a present for Speedy.

The next morning, she saw its cage. Then she was very surprised, because the cage was empty!!
Her family looked under the sofa and behind the presents and all around living room. But it was not anywhere. Then Arthur looked up at the tree, and it was on top of the tree. It was eating a piece of cheese and standing on one paw. She thought that it was a ballerina!! She felt happy then.

Somehow it got out of his cage three more times. Once they found it under the cake box, and he was eating carrot cake. One they found it sleeping in her dollhouse. And once they found it in his snow boot.

It was the day before of the going to school day. She wanted it to give a bath. She said that her mother. Then it took off like lightning!! It would not into a bath. They looked upstairs and downstairs and boxes and closets. But no one could find it. After all, she decided to sleep. She crawled under the covers. Then she felt something warm and furry. It was a Speedy!! They slept together.

The story made me warm. I want to keep a gerbil. Keeping a pet is very important for us, so we know that life is very precious. I have a dog, too. He was very cute. I like to play with him. I would like to keep him forever. I love him.

BR 2-05: Young Cam Jansen

I read a book last night. The book's title was Young Cam Jansen and the Zoo Note Mystery.

Cam Jasen and Eric Shelton are good friends. They always go to school by school bus. They were going to go to the zoo on the day. But there was a condition to go to the zoo. It was the note which was signed by their parent. Without the note, they can't go to the trip. And Eric brought the note the day. He always forgot where he put things. On the other hand, Cam has amazing memory. Cam's real name is Jennifer, but because of her great memory people called her "The Camera." Soon "The Camera" became just "Cam." When he showed the note to Cam, he looked for his right pants pocket and left pants pocket. Finally, he found the note in his shirt pocket. When they were in the school bus, he opened the lunch box and showed it to Cam. Then the bus arrived at the school, so he put on everything back and closed his lunch box. And they hurried off the bus.

When they came in their classroom, Eric told his teacher that he brought the note. And he reached into his right pans pocket, left pants pocket and short pocket. But there was not the note. He said " I had it on the bus." "Check the hall." the teacher said. Eric and Cam checked the hall. After that, they went to the office. They waited the ask if someone had found the note. Then she thought that Eric dropped it on the bus. And they looked on the bus seats and under them. But they didn't find the note. They thought a moment. Cam hit on. Maybe he put it in his jacket pocket. But it was not in the jacket pocket. He started to give it up. He was sad, because he brought the note but there wasn't it anywhere. At that time, Cam remembered. She knew where to find his note. It was in the lunch box!! Eric got his lunch box, and opened it. Then he found the note. He was very happy, and he was able to go to the zoo. He thanks to Cam. And they went to the zoo happily.

I think Cam has great memory. It is sure that she called Cam. If I was Eric, I was in hurry. When I was a school child, I wanted to go to the zoo absolutely. It was really good to find his note.

BR 2-04: More Macdonalds

I read a book. The title was More MocDonalds. The book's picture was very cute, so I wanted to borrow this book.

The story was about McDonald family. Dad planned to build a new house and he told his sons and daughter about that at morning. Then the twins were worried, because they thought they had to leave their friends and the school and the park. But they didn't need to move. Bad planed that they were going to build extra rooms on the side of their house. And the house was their new bedroom. But the twins began to fight about the new bedroom.

MacDonald family member were dad, mother, Mouse, Jojo and Pip. Jojo and Mouse were in same bedroom and they always sleep in same room. Jojo and Mouse have a double-deck bed. If Jojo turned over in her sleep, she made both the beds shake. Mouse thought that when he turned over, he didn't make Jojo shake. And he could see a face in the pattern on the wallpaper. It was there every night, smiling at him. It watched while he slept. Then Mouse thought. He knew what he was going to do in the morning.

At the breakfast time the next day Mouse told an announcement. He said that " I want to Jojo to have the new room when it is ready." Everyone looked at him. And Mam asked him "What made you change your mind?" He said simply that "I like the old room."

When I finished reading this book, I felt admiration. I have an older brother and a younger sister. And my room is the biggest of other rooms. First, my room was my brother's room. But I wanted the biggest room, so my brother transferred me. Then I thought my brother was very kind. Mouse is also very kind. I think Jojo must be happy. I would like to learn him.

BR 2-03: Noises in the Night

I read a book. The title was Noises in the Night. The book has a CD, so we can listen to the story. First, I read a book and listen to the CD. When I read the book, I didn't understand the story perfectly. But I could understand, because I listen to the CD. It is good for me to listen to the CD. It becomes study of listening and reading. I want to borrow the book which has a CD.

The story was little scary. Jess went to stay with her friend Carla for the night. Carla has a lot of animals. There are three birds, five cats and one little dog, so her house was always lively. They pend watching TV and playing with Carla's pets. And it was the time when they went to bed.

Carla got into bed. But Jess stayed up, because she did not want to go to sleep. Then she heard the noise. She was very scary, so she tried to get up Carla. But she did not have her hearing-aid in. She stayed asleep. She heard the noise again from outside the window. She went to near the window.

Sitting at the window was one of Carla's cats. It looked like that it wanted to come inside, so she helped it in. Then she noticed one thing. The cat was making that noise. She was relieved, and she went to the bed.

When I was child, I didn't like to go to bed alone. I thought that night was very scary, so I agreed Jess's feeling. I thought it was very good that the noise's criminal was cat. The book was interesting!!

BR 2-02: Burglar's Breakfast

I read a book yesterday. The story was about burglar. The burglar's name is Alfie. He always steals a lot of things. After he was hard work, he liked to go home to a tasty breakfast. His breakfast is main meal of the day for him, so he always ate at least three courses.

When he arrive at the his house, he was very hungry. And he wanted to eat cornflakes, so he tried to find it. But he couldn't find it. Then, he noticed a trail of cornflakes leading out of the door. And the trail continued the street. He realized that someone had stolen his cornflakes, so he decided to get back his breakfast. Alfie followed the cornflake trail, and he found the cornflake burglar. He was surprised, because the burglar was a goat!! He said nothing and leave the goat.

On his way home, he thought that he ate the scrambled egg instead of cornflakes. But the eggs were also stolen by a fox. And the sugar was stolen by many ants. He wanted to cook the waffles, but he didn't want to stole them, so he gave up. Alfile felt hungry and very, very cross. Therefore, he ate the breakfast in the cafe.

I think a person is not able to do wrong thing. The book was very interesting.

BR 2-01: SHAWN and KEEPER

I read a book yesterday. The book's title was SHAWN and KEEPER. The book made me happy.

A boy and a dog appear in the book. The boy's name is Shawn and the dog's name is Keeper. They were born on the same day, so they grew up together. When Shawn was a baby, Keeper was a puppy. When Shawn was one year old, Keeper was one year too. And their birthday approaches, so it is tomorrow.

They are going to be six. They are looking forward to eat a birthday cake!! The cake is made by Shawn's mother. They prepared for a birthday party. For example, Shawn blew up balloons and invited a lot of friends.

Shawn enjoyed with Keeper and his friends on the birthday party. They ate hot dogs, chips and drinks. It came the time when they eat a cake. But there were not cake, and Keeper also disappeared. Shawn and his friends looked for the cake and Keeper. Then Shawn's father and Keeper appeared, and he had a cake. It was surprise!! Shawn was very moved, so ate the cake. After that, they opened their presents, they howled with joy!!

I didn't experience such their birthday party. I thought wonderful that he got a surprise. I want to do it for my family or friends.

I read a English book. The title was Mr.Putter and Tabby.

The story's main character is Potter who is an old man. He lived all alone. He had no one to share his English muffins and his tea. All day, Mr. Potter watered his trees and clipped his roses.

One day, he wanted to a cat, so he went to the pet shop. There are many cats in the cage. But he couldn't find the favorite cat, so he asked the pet store lady. She said him that go to the shelter.

Mr.Potter went to the shelter. The shelter man brought Mr.Putter the old yellow cat. He decided to take the cat home. He named her Tabby. His life became to be very fun, because he was not alone. They always were together. Tabby and Mr.Potter could not remember life. They ate their muffins and their tea and enjoyed all time.

I thought it is great relationship, because they need each other. I respect the relation. I want to have a cat.

I read a book , and the title was Mr.Potter & Tabby Catch the cold.

The book's story was a day which Mr.Potter had a cold. It was snow and very cold in that day, so he caught the cold. When he was a child, he liked a cold, because her mother brought him warm soup, minty tea and adventure books. But he is old now.

He called Mrs. Teaberry, Mrs. Teaberry is good friend and neighbor for him. And she said to him " I'll send Zeke." Twenty minutes later there was a dog. It was Mrs. Teaberry's good dog,
Zeke. It brought Chicken soup and peppermint tea to him.

He did the call of thanks to her. And he asked her to bring an adventure book. In a while, Zeke came his house again and it brought the book. They read it, and sleep with them.

The book was very fun, and it made me warm. I want to read it again.

BR 1-10: Submarine Adventure

I read a book. The title was a Submarine Adventure. I thought that the book was very fantastic.

It was a Wilf's birthday story. Wilf showed his friend a birthday present. It was a submarine in the box. Wilf picked up it in the box, and he put its headlight. The friend lighted up by the headlight, and they became very small. After that they were in the place where they didn't know. There were a lot of boats and Wilf's submarine. There was a Professor Tangle in the submarine. They got on the submarine with the professor Tangle, and went into the bottom of the sea. There were a lot of fish, so they were very moved.

The submarine went deeper and deeper. Then there was a cave ahead of them, and the submarine went into the cave. There were diamonds all over the walls. When they was very excited, the wall of the cave began to shake. And rocks and stones fell around them!!

When they noticed, they were in Biff's room.

If I can experience that, I'm very fun!! I like this story, because I'm very excited when I read it. I want to read this book again.

I also read Athur's book. The series is interesting for me. The book's title is ARTHUR TRICKS THE TOOTH FAIRY.

It was the story of D.W. who is a Ahur's sister. One day, Athur's tooth fell out. The next day, the tooth fairy left a dollar under his pillow. I thought Athur is a good brother. I want to brother like a Athur. The book was very fun!!

BR 1-08: Arthur

I read a book, and the title is ARTHUR'S READING RACE.

Arthur appears in the book. He learned to read a book in school, so he always reads the book. He reads in cars and in beds and with his sister. He is fun to read a book. His sister's name is D.W. He asked her to teach how to read a book, but she said that she can read. So he said her if she can read ten words, he buy her an ice cream. She thought that it was easy.

They went to for the walk of dog. There were a lot of words outside, so he asked her. For example, it is a sighboard and a mark. She was able to answer all questions, so he was surprised. He bought two ice creams after all. They looked happy when they ate the ice cream.

After that he asked her to read a book while sitting down on a bench. But she refused his offer, because a poster was held on the bench. The poster said "wet paint". He stood up soon, but his pants were stained. Then she said him that "Now I can teach you two words that you don't know". When I read the sentence, I chucked much. Because he was advised by his sister. He felt confident about reading word, so I think he was a shock. But I thought this is very interesting.

BR 1-07: First Kiss

I read two English books. Those were Amelia Bedelia and ARTHUR'S FIRST KISS. My favorite book was ARTHUR'S FIRST KISS!! The book's story was very cute.

One day, Arthur asked Francine to come her party. Of course he said "Yes". Then Francine very smiled, because she had a plan on the party. But Arthur didn't know. When he was leaving a school, he spoke to his friend. And the friend asked him that Arthur really kiss Francine in the party. When he heard that, he was very surprised. He didn't want to kiss her. But he said her to go to a party, so he had to go to a party.

The next day, he dressed up and went to her party. When he rang a bell, he was nervous. Because he thought they play the kissing game, but they didn't play that. There were balloons and party hats and a table with a lot of food. So he could relax. But Francine and her friend were busy doing something in the corner then. What did they? So they prepared the kiss game. A device was held in it. Owing to the trick, she could kiss Arthur, so she was happy. When she kissed him, his dog went to him by chance and his dog kissed him. So she could not kiss him. Authur was much relived, and he thanked him. After the party he gave a piece of cake for the dog.

I can understand Francine's feeling, but I thought she didn't have to do a silly trick. I'm glad to Arthur could protect his first kiss. All characters that appeared in this book were very cute, and I remembered in my childhood. I want to read it again.
