Essay 2-02b: Coca-Cola and Pepsi

I like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, so I often drink those. However I don't know the different of the two. Though both Coca-Cola and Pepsi are popular soft drink, there are differences between the two. So I wanted to look into various aspects.

First I examined Coca-Cola. The history was surprised for me. There was a medical treatment master. His name was Pem berton. He hit on the development of the medical liquor. And he developed it in 1885. The name was French・Wine・Coca. One day, he had mixed the soda water with it by chance. But it was delicious, so he added syrup in it, and he began to sell it. It is the Coca-Cola now. He happened to make the Coca-Cola.

Next it is sales of Coca-Cola. It has sold about 2.6 trillion yen a year. It shows that it is drunken 13 hundred million cups a day by people. It is a remarkable figure!! And it is said that there are only two people who know how to make Coca-Cola. The two people don't ride on the same airport because of preventing the secret.

Second I examined Pepsi. The history of Pepsi was different from that of Coca-Cola. Keyreb Bradhum who was a medical treatment master sold a drink. The drink was a medical treatment medicine to cure a suffering from indigestion. The drink contained pepsin which was indigestion ferment, so it named Pepsi cola by him. But Pepsi was not popular than Coca-Cola, so they began to sell it with the beer bottle whose amount of content is larger than the bottle of Coca-Cola. Therefore management of Pepsi goes well now.

The sales of Pepsi are not more than that of Coca-Cola. But it has sold about 350 hundred million yen a year. It was sold in about 200 countries. It is famous that they have a lot of kinds and an ordinal taste. For example, they sold Pepsi azuki, Pepsi siso and Pepsi nex.

I was very surprised about the history of Coca-Cola. It was made by chance, and it has become a very popular drink. On the other hand, Pepsi made many kinds of the taste, and it becomes popular now. I think the idea of Pepsi is a reason for its popularity. It is great that Coca-Cola and Pepsi complete each other, so there will be a lot of more excellent goods.

Essay 2-01b: My favorite places

I have a lot of favorite places. If there is not the place, I have a lot of stress. I think the places are very important for me to live every day. My room and a sea are in particular my favorite places.

The first place I’d like to tell about in my room. My favorite place is my room, because I'm able to be relaxed there. There are no people in my room, so I don't have to care about a person. I like there being at alone. I always read a book, or listen to music, or sleeping in my room.

There are a bed, three cushions, a table, a shelf and TV in my room. My favorite thing is a cushion. There are three cushions, and one cushion is very big among three. And the big cushion is soft. I am comfortable when I sit on the cushion. I bought it in Nitori. It is cheap, and the form and color is also good. I think that I did good shopping. I am satisfied about my room. However I want to have a plant in my room now. There was a plant before, but I didn't take care of it properly, so it died. Therefore I want to grow the plant again, and I want to take the room where is full of green!!

Next is the sea. There are many seas in Japan, but I like all seas. I always go there by car with my family or my friends. When I found the sea first, I thought it was very big puddle!!

I like to watch the sea in all seasons. For example, I like the sea of the summer to shine by solar light and the winter sea of the winter when the sea breeze is cold. When I watch the sea and hear the sound of the wave, I'm comfortable. The sea is beautiful and big. When I was tired or troubled, I went to the sea and got spirit from it. But I don't like to swim in the sea, because the seawater is hot. If I drink it or catch sight, I can't stand. I like to watch the sea only!! My grandfather and grandmother's house is near the sea, so I'm always happy to go to their house. However, when I leave their house, I feel lonely and I want to go there again.

I need to have my favorite places. My room gives me healing every day. To sleep in the bed, to read a book and to eat the sweet are stress relieving for me. And the sea gives me a lot of spirit. The sea is not only a beautiful place but also place of cleaning the heart. Both of the places are important for me.

Essay 1-03b: Lilo and Stich

Lilo and Stich is very warm story, so I felt happy after watching it, and I want to watch it again. Lilo and Stich are very cute, this movie was taught me family’s and love's importance from the movie. If I didn’t watch it, I didn’t notice that. The movie made us tell the importance, and I reconsidered it some other time. First I’ll write about family in this movie. Next I’ll write about my family in real life. After that I’ll write about love in this movie. Finally I’ll write about love in real life.

Lilo didn't have parents, because they had a traffic accident few years ago, so she lost in them. She lost her parent, but her older sister and she survived luckily. She hoped to have a family. Meanwhile Stich doesn't have a family when he was born. It made by a chemist, and it was made to destroy all things. So he couldn’t understand about the family.

I have a family, and I like it. I haven’t lost any my family’s members, but I have friends who have lost their parents, or brothers, or sisters. I think it is very important to make a bond of family. However I think the bend become to lack these days, because an opportunity of talking with family is fewer than before. We should talk more with our family.

Stich is very violent, so he always destroys many things. And he didn't know love, because he always was lonely. He had never been loved by anyone until he met Lilo, so he didn’t have consideration for others. Eventually he became the member of Lilo's family, so he didn't destroy things, and made several. He also learned to swim in seas.

I think the mind of person is able to change by love. It might change the mind good or bad, so we always try to take good care of other people. If we don't it, human relations break easily. If we given much love other people, we can make a good relation like Lilo and Stich. Love is very important for us to live.

At first Lilo didn’t have parents, and Stich didn’t have a family either. However Lilo became very happy, when Stich became a member of her family. And Stich became tender and kind, because he was known love by Lilo. The bend of family is very important for us, so love is able to change person's heart. I realized that we can live smoothly thanks to our family’s and friend’s love, so I want to treat them kindly.

Essay 1-02b: Not my university life

Do you have the driver's license? I'm interested in driver's license circumstance of many college students. I want to know how many college students have it. And I want to know why they take it too. So I write about that.

I can't go to a college by car, because I don't have a driver's license. I want to get a driver's license, but I'm not forgiven it by my parents. Because if I get a driver's license, it costs so high. So I will get that in the third or fourth year in college. I will save to get it, and I want to drive.

Some friends have driver's licenses. They got it in the first year in college. Because their homes are far, so when they go to a college, they had better go to a college by car. To drive a car is some risks, but I owe driving to them, so I spend interesting school days. They said that car is very useful, but then driving is dangerous for them.

A general university student also have driver's license. My university has a big park, and there are always many cars. However, university students of the urban area seem to be different, because there are a lot of means of transportation. So when they go to a university, they get on a subway or a train or bus. Therefore they do not have to drive a car.

In brief my friends took driver's licenses to go to their school, because their houses are far from their schools. When we take it, we must be careful during driving. But if we live in the urban area, we need not to take the driver's license, because there are many means of transportation in the urban. So the university students who live in the big city don't have driver's license. However I live in Kumamoto, so I have to take it. I want to take the driver's license soon, because if I become a working member of society, I don't have enough time. So I will take it within a college student.
